Gregory Gottfried has wanted to be a writer for quite some time
now, whether it be for television, movies, or books. He has even started to
work on his own thriller novel that he hopes to get published someday. The key
to becoming a great writer is to constantly and consistently work at it. This
means that it takes repetition and practice. Writing is something that has to
be learned over time, especially when you are talking about creative writing.
There is no set standard or shortcuts to becoming a great writer, it is simply
a way of life that must be adopted in order to achieve.
Like many technical skills, writing requires repetition and
practice in order to improve upon. One important thing to note however, is that
you should always be having fun writing, even if it is just as practice.
Everything you write should feel engaging and you should feel excited to
complete it. This will make your sessions more valuable and help you improve
and grow as a writer faster. Just remember that not everything you create has
to be a masterpiece. It is okay to write blogs or short stories, maybe just a
memory, so long as you keep writing.
After enough practice, you will notice a substantial improvement
in your writing abilities. If you yourself do not notice it, the people who
read your work will be bound to. The best part is that you are likely to
naturally improve over time as well.
Gregory Gottfried improves his writing through practice.
